Following their defeat to Cardiff City and last minute agony against Norwich, Ipswich are looking to bounce back in their game against Preston who are positioned 9th in the league, a team who have displayed good form in their recent fixtures.
Mick McCarthy will be looking for a repeat of the last time the two clubs met, despite sitting comfortably in mid-table, McCarthy will be hoping to put an end to the poor form that his team has shown in recent games.
Preston have managed to secure points from their past five consecutive games. They’ve also received two red cards within their past three fixtures, however on both occasions have managed to secure at least a point.
Ipswich seem to have the odds stacked against them due to being the visitors in this game. Despite this Town fans will be hoping that their top goal scorer Joe Garner will be able to increase his tally against his former club.
